About the Farm

Tica Linda comes from women-led farms in the famed Tarrazú region of Costa Rica. While women make up nearly 70% of the labor force in coffee production, they have historically faced challenges in accessing land, credit, and resources. This project was created to highlight the work of these farmers and provide them with greater recognition and financial return for their skill and dedication. Grown at elevations between 1,200 and 1,900 meters, in rich volcanic soil and a climate ideal for coffee, these beans reflect both the resilience of their producers and the exceptional quality of the region.

About the Bean

This honey-processed lot showcases the vibrant yet balanced character of Tarrazú coffee. Flavor notes include milk chocolate, peach, strawberry, blackberry, green apple, and honey. With a medium body and bright but approachable acidity, it offers a cup that is fruity without being overly light. Instead, it leans toward a mildly rich and balanced profile, delivering fruit-forward sweetness alongside a smooth, grounded structure. Moisture content is 11.50%, ensuring both stability and quality in the roast.
